Blood of the brave Christians who gave their lives for their beliefs. The color for the season of Pentecost is green to symbolize growth. However, on the Festival Sundays of Trinity and Christ the King, the color is white.

The symbols of Pentecost are the symbols of the Holy Spirit - flames of fire and the dove.  Green leaves, the sun and plants are also used to symbolize the season of growth.
