The Rejoice Band
Saint David's Choir
Performing regularly at the 11am service, the Saint David's Choir is
they would sound something like our choir." The following recording
of them from the January 22 service certainly backs up Joes' claim.
Anyone and everyone can join the choir. If you are interested in
joining, contact Joe.
Led by Joe McArdle (vocals, guitar, keyboards), the Rejoice Band has been
performing at the 11am Rejoice Service for the past four years. According to Joe,
"The Rejoice service really rocks! We do Church differently here at St. David's."
Indeed, the congregation can often be seen clapping and dancing along with the
energetic three piece band. Whether it is an updated version of a standard hymn,
a recent Contemporary Christian tune, or even the occasional original song, the
Rejoice Service truly is a celebration of God's love. Joining Joe as the core of the
Rejoice Band are Ed Gerold on bass and vocals and Joe Silvestro on drums. Ed
has been a musician since he was seven or eight years old, and has been known
to occasionally contribute on guitar. Joe Silvestro has been playing drums since
"seeing Ringo on the Ed Sullivan show."  He uses a hi-tech Hart Dynamics
electronic drumkit, which is capable of a vast array of percussive sounds. So what
do they sound like? Click on the songs below for a sample...
